The Bermad IR-23Q-2W Quick Pressure Relief Valve protects irrigation systems by automatically discharging water when pipeline pressure exceeds the preset level. Once the pressure returns to an appropriate range, the valve closes, helping minimize the effects of overpressure on pipelines and system equipment.

During irrigation system operation, pressure can rise suddenly when pumps start or stop or when valves open and close. These fluctuations can place excessive stress on pipelines, filtration units, and irrigation equipment. The IR-23Q-2W helps release excess pressure when necessary, reducing the risk of damage and improving system safety.

The valve operates using pipeline water pressure and does not require an external power supply. When pressure exceeds the preset threshold, the valve opens to discharge water and automatically closes once the pressure decreases. Water discharge can also help operators identify abnormal pressure conditions within the system.

Featuring a glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide body and an operating pressure range of 0.7–10 bar, the Bermad IR-23Q-2W is suitable for agricultural irrigation systems, pumping stations, and filtration units, particularly at locations where pipelines and equipment require protection against sudden pressure surges. The installation location and pressure setting should be selected according to the design of each project.

Green Agritech will continue to update this page with real-world projects featuring the Bermad IR-23Q-2W Quick Pressure Relief Valve.
